When Do You Need an IV Drip at Home?

What is a home IV drip
A home IV drip is the intravenous delivery of a therapeutic solution right in your home — without a trip to the clinic or waiting in line. I'm Lidia, a doctor with more than 10 years of emergency-medicine experience, and I carry out the procedure myself. I arrive with all the sterile equipment, assess your condition and choose the composition individually.
When a home IV drip makes the most sense
- Dehydration — after food poisoning, an intestinal infection, overheating or intense workouts.
- Low energy and chronic fatigue — when the body needs to quickly restore fluids, vitamins and electrolytes.
- Recovery from colds and respiratory infections — to get through the illness more easily and bounce back faster.
- Hangover — a drip relieves the nausea, headache and weakness after drinking.
- Flights and jet lag — helps you adapt and recover more quickly.
- Stress and burnout — supportive and vitamin blends.
Why at home instead of a hospital
- Comfort. You stay in familiar surroundings and can simply rest.
- Time saved. No travelling and no queues — I come at a time that suits you.
- A doctor's attention. The procedure is performed by a doctor who assesses your condition and adjusts the composition if needed.
- Safety. I use only sterile single-use materials and monitor your wellbeing from the first minute to the last.
When a drip is not suitable
An IV drip is a medical procedure and it has contraindications: certain heart and kidney conditions, severe swelling, or an allergy to the solution's components. That's why before the procedure I always ask about chronic illnesses, allergies and how you feel. If a drip isn't right for you, I'll tell you honestly.
How to book a drip
Message me on WhatsApp or Telegram, or call, and briefly describe your situation — I'll tell you whether a drip is suitable, which composition you need and when I can come. I work across Tbilisi, including evenings and weekends.
